Only the dopey Liberals and the Zionists who control Canada's media could pretend that what 56% of the population of a Western nation vote for is extremist.
In fact, all it shows is how extremist is our own political elite in thinking, or pretending to think, that the Swiss should not want to go on being Swiss but should anticipate with delight the prospect of being infiltrated by people of an alien culture, a high birth rate and a colonial mentality.
Such thinking is either delusional or based in a desire to destroy Western civilization. For, as practised by many immigrants to the West, Islam is a religion of conquest that seeks to supplant the indiginous law, customs, and culture of a country with its own.
This means either extirpation of the native civilization or ghettoization of Muslims. Opting for either is shear lunacy.
Even in Canada, we don't want what the Globe and Mail thinks everyone should want. We expect -- whatever the claptrap about multiculturalism that may be spewed by the political class -- that immigrants will assimilate, and most do. For the children of immigrants, integration is among the highest of aspirations. That is as it must be in the kind of society that the great majority of Canadians want.
One measure of Canada's success in achieving a coherent society despite the racial diversity of its people is that, at the last census, of 30 million odd Canadians, six million identified themselves not as English, French, or Chinese, etc. -- as the politically correct people creating the census questionnaire invited them to, but simply as Canadian.
